Earthwork ditches of likely post-medieval to 19th century date are visible on aerial photographs of 1947 and on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016, to the east of Langbridge Farm. The parallel earthworks are northeast to southwest aligned and are situated on gentle southeast facing slope, adjacent to the River Otter. The function of the earthwork ditches is largely unclear, although conceivably form the remnants of a former water meadow system, possibly tapping the River Otter approximately 50m to the northeast.
