The earthworks broadly correspond to the plot boundaries depicted here on the Parish Tithe map of approximately 1838-48. An additional cultivation terrace is possibly visible further to the southeast (MDV116480). The earthworks are not clearly visible on aerial photographs or other digital images made available to the survey owing to tree cover.
