The field boundaries appear to have largely passed out of use.

Former field boundaries of between medieval to post-medieval date are visible on aerial photographs of 1947 onwards and on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016, to the east of Harvest Wood. The two southern field boundaries are northwest to southeast aligned, with the western of these additionally turning towards the northeast. The earthwork to the north is curvilinear in shape and is possibly partly depicted on the Parish Tithe map of 1838-48. Less certain earthworks of a possible northeast to southwest aligned field boundary are visible to the east, although may also be the result of soil slippage on the southeast facing slopes here. The Historic Landscape Characterisation project has classified this area as comprising ‘Medieval enclosures based on strip fields’.
