A curvilinear earthwork ditch, circa 1.5 metres in width, is visible on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014 and less distinctly on aerial photographs taken from the 1940s onwards. It broadly fits into the surrounding field system, and partly corresponds to the curvilinear boundary demarcating a change in vegetation on the modern mapping, although no features are shown in this plot of rough ground depicted on the 19th century mapping. It is tentatively interpreted as the relict remains of a medieval field boundary bank which went out of use by the mid-19th century.
