A probable relict field boundary of medieval or post-medieval origin is visible as a rectilinear earthwork bank on aerial photographs taken from 1947 and on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. It probably went out of use by the mid-19th century.

A rectilinear earthwork bank, up to circa 3 metres in width, is visible on aerial photographs taken from 1947 and on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. No features are depicted in this exact location on the 19th century mapping and the bank is interpreted as the relict remains of a field boundary that went out of use by the mid-19th century. It abuts two extant field boundaries in an area characterised as enclosures of medieval origin and based on strip fields, but given its rectilinear plan a post-medieval date is also possible.
