Several curvilinear earthwork banks, circa 2 metres in width, are visible on aerial photographs taken from 1947 and on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. Some of these correspond to the location of field boundaries depicted on the Tithe map, but two that are not fit into and are roughly parallel to elements of the surrounding field system, which has been characterised as medieval in origin. Another that is not depicted on the historic mapping, centred at ST2784400635, appears to abut a field boundary at its north-west end that is depicted on the Tithe map along the same alignment. Only these three banks that are not depicted on historic mapping have been transcribed for this project, and they are interpreted as the relict remains of medieval field boundary banks that went out of use by the mid-19th century.
