Earthwork banks of probable post-medieval to 19th century date are visible on aerial photographs of 1947 and on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016, to the northeast of Barn Park Farm. The earthworks are northwest to southeast aligned, occupy an area of approximately 0.04 hectares of steep southeast facing slope and are bound by an L-shape bank forming a rectangular shaped enclosure. The earthworks may represent the remains of 18th-19th agricultural improvement or represent the site of a former orchard, the banks providing improved drainage and increased soil depth for the fruit trees.
