Parallel linear earthwork banks, circa 4.5 metres in width, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1947. Their cross-contour orientation is indicative of tree planting banks of post-medieval or 19th century date, and the area is depicted with trees on the Tithe map suggesting that it was in use as an orchard at this time; it was still mapped as orchard in the early-20th century and trees are visible in this plot on the 1940s aerial photographs. They and the earthworks were not identified on the later available aerial imagery and have probably been levelled.
