Earthwork banks of probable post-medieval to 19th century date are visible on aerial photographs of 1982 and on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016, to the south of Corrymoor Cottage. The earthworks, faintly defined in places, are northwest to southeast aligned and occupy an area of approximately 0.20 hectares of gentle southeast facing slope. They are divided by a curvilinear, north to south aligned earthwork bank of a probable plot boundary. The earthworks may represent the remains of agricultural improvement or, more likely, the site of an orchard associated with the former farmstead of Upper Correymore depicted here on the Parish Tithe map of approximately 1838-48, but now largely demolished.
