A plot boundary ditch of likely post-medieval date to 19th century date is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of 1982 and on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016, to the west of Ulcombe Farm. The former boundary may form part of a sub-division of a larger rectilinear shaped plot depicted on the Parish Tithe map of 1838-48 map, possibly defining an area of a former orchard, a number of which are depicted in the vicinity here.
