Two conjoined curvilinear earthwork banks, up to 10 metres in width, are visible on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. They are located in an area that has been characterised as enclosures of medieval strip field origin, and at its western end the earthwork closely matches the alignment of an extant curvilinear field boundary. It is interpreted as the remains of two conjoined medieval field boundary banks. Neither are depicted on the 19th century mapping and it probably predates a straight field boundary depicted on the Tithe map that is on a completely different alignment, indicating that it went out of use by the mid-19th century. Its width and the fact it was not identified from the available aerial photographs suggests that it may be slight, perhaps having been spread by ploughing. An elongated oval pit immediately to the south (MDV116621) could be associated.
