A possible former field boundary of between medieval to 19th century date is visible as an earthwork bank on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016, to the southeast of Ullcombe Farm. The sinuous northwest to southeast aligned earthwork is located in an area classified as ‘Medieval enclosures based on strip fields’, so may have medieval origins. The possible field boundary is not depicted on the Parish Tithe map of approximately 1838-48, so appears to have passed out of use by this time.
