Former field boundaries of possible medieval date are visible as a series of earthwork banks on aerial photographs of 1947 onwards and on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016, to the west of Peacross Farm. The linear and parallel earthwork banks are northeast to southwest aligned, in addition to two north to south aligned banks, and appear to form a series of strip fields. The field boundaries are not depicted on the Parish Tithe map, which appears to be un-surveyed here, and with the exception of the two eastern-most boundaries, all appear to have passed out of use by the time of the Ordnance Survey First Edition map. Additional earthworks of former field boundaries were also recorded to the west (MDV116792).
