Possible extraction pits of likely post-medieval to 19th century date are visible as earthwork pits on aerial photographs of 1947 onwards and on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016, to the west of Livenhayes Farm. The irregular shaped earthworks measure up to 47m in length and are located in an area where a number of similar such features have been recorded during this survey. The eastern-most earthwork is located within the site of a former orchard (MDV114738).
