The extraction pit is visible as an earthwork pit.

The extraction pit is visible as an earthwork pit, with possible associated earthwork mound.

An extraction pit of possible post-medieval to 19th century date is visible as an earthwork pit on aerial photographs of 1947 onwards and on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016, to the south of Livenhayes Farm. The sub-oval shaped earthwork measures approximately 31m in length by 20m in width and is located in an area where a number of similar such features have been recorded during this survey. An oval shaped earthwork mound which measures approximately 25m in length by 18m in width is visible to the immediate south and may represent up-cast material derived from the extraction pit.
