'Camp (Site of)' shown on 19th century map as a sub-oval feature circa 120 meters long x 84 meters wide with a former field boundary across the northern segment.

Pale sub-circular enclosure visible as a crop mark on the 1946-49 Royal Air Force ariel image.

Site of camp. Classified as a simple defensive enclosure by J Wall. On aerial photograph the circular feature is 70 meters in diameter with a bank 7 meters thick with a concentric outer ditch also 7 meters wide. Nothing is now visible in the grass covered area though the cropmark on the aerial photograph is consistent with a hillslope settlement enclosure of Iron Age type.
