Three irregular earthwork pits are visible.

Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2016-2018, The Blackdown Hills AONB and East Devon River Catchments National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV359463.

Three irregular earthwork pits, the largest circa 90 by 30 metres, are visible on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. The northernmost is least well defined and partly corresponds to an area depicted as orchard on the Tithe map, although this seems to have been removed by the late-19th century. The other two areas are depicted as rough ground on the late-19th century map. The pits are not clearly defined on the aerial photographs and the southernmost are obscured by woodland. They are interpreted as the remains of extractive pits that went out of use and scrubbed up by the end of the 19th century.
