A slightly curvilinear earthwork ditch, circa 1.5 metres in width, is visible on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014 and as a dark cropmark on aerial photographs taken in the 1990s. It is not depicted on the available historic maps and is tentatively interpreted as a relict field boundary bank that went out of use by the mid-19th century. It is roughly parallel to and circa 35 metres south of an earthwork ditch that corresponds to a field boundary depicted on the Tithe map, and may be medieval in origin.
