A small pond and semi-circular area of land is depicted on the south side of a field boundary.

A roughly circular earthwork pit, circa 52 metres in diameter, is visible in two parts either side of a field boundary on aerial photographs taken from 1976 and on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. The southern part is depicted as a separate semi-circular area of land and a possible pond on the Tithe map and late-19th century OS mapping. It is interpreted as the remains of an extractive pit that was abandoned by the mid-19th century, and subsequently scrubbed up and part become water-filled.
