Full description
Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division, 1978, SS41SW3 (Ordnance Survey Archaeology Division Card). SDV12941.
East Browns. On site of mansion. Lysons says built by Sir Thomas Browne, who also enclosed a deer park.
No remains of the old mansion. The present house is entirely modern. Nothing remains of the deer park, the hedge being all of a late date.
