An earthwork banked enclosure of possible post-medieval to 19th century date is visible on aerial photographs of 1947 and on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016, to the west of Birch Oak Farm. The enclosure is fairly poorly defined but appears to be sub-oval in shape and measures approximately 27m in length by 21m in width. It is situated on gentle northeast facing slope. The function of the enclosure is largely unclear, although may represent up-cast material from a small extraction pit, or may be of agricultural origin.
