Parallel linear earthwork banks, circa 3.5 metres in width, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1947 and on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. The area is not depicted as orchard on the 19th century mapping, but the broadly cross-contour orientation is indicative of tree planting banks. They may have gone out of use by the mid-19th century.
