Full description
Risdon, T., 1811, Choreographical Description or Survey of the County of Devon (Monograph). SDV20653.
Site of mansion. In the yard at Ladford is the site of the ancient mansion of Loddeford, formerly the residence of John Hankeford, also a chapel, licensed in 1406, dedication not known.

Nothing remains at Ladford of either the old mansion or the chapel. The present house is modern.
