Parallel linear earthwork banks, circa 3.5 metres in width, are visible on aerial photographs taken from the 1940s in two plots of land depicted as orchard on the Tithe map. Their broadly cross-contour orientation is indicative of post-medieval or 19th century tree planting banks. The smaller northernmost plot is not depicted as orchard by the late-19th century OS mapping, and this must have fallen out of use by this time. In contract, the southernmost still had a few scattered trees in 1976 and only fell completely out of use after this date. The banks are visible on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014 but no trees remain.
