Haabet Anker. Norwegian barque, lost in 1853. It was en-route from Sannisund to Exmouth, when it was blown onto the rocks. The vessel was uninsured, but the cargo was insured at London for £500, and the wreck of the hull was sold for £40 (Larn & Larn 1997).
