Parallel linear earthwork banks, circa 3.5 metres in width, are indistinctly visible on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. Their broadly cross-contour orientation is indicative of post-medieval or 19th century tree planting banks. The area is not depicted as orchard or tree covered on the available historic mapping, although the adjacent land parcel is. They are tentatively interpreted as orchard banks that went out of use by the mid-19th century.
