The possible extraction pit is visible as an earthwork pit.

A possible post-medieval to 19th century extraction pit is visible as an earthwork pit on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016, to the west of Ridge Farm. The circular shaped earthwork measures approximately 19m in diameter and is situated on gentle southwest facing slope. The earthwork was not clearly visible on aerial photographs or other digital images made available to the survey.
