Two former field boundaries of potential medieval date are visible are earthwork bank and ditched features on aerial photographs of 1947 onwards and on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016, to the northwest of Stafford Barton. The northern of the two field boundaries comprises a northeast to southwest earthwork bank with flanking ditch to the south. This field boundary is largely depicted on the Parish Tithe map of 1838-48, although it clearly extended further to the northeast, having passed out of use by this time. A second possible northwest to southeast aligned field boundary, or 19th century drainage ditch, extends off the southwest extent of this field boundary.
