Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2016-2018, The Blackdown Hills AONB and East Devon River Catchments National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV359463.

A possible field boundary of medieval to 19th century date is visible as an earthwork ditch on aerial photographs of 1947 onwards and on digital images derived from lidar images captured in 2016, to the south of Blackdown Garth. The curvilinear earthwork is situated on gentle west facing slope and appears to correspond to a slight kink in the field boundary at its southeast extent. The digital Parish Tithe mosaic is incomplete here, so it is not possible to determine whether the field boundary was extant by this time, although it had evidently passed out of use by the time of the First Edition Ordnance Survey map.
