A rectilinear earthwork bank, between 2 and 3 metres wide, is visible on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014 and aerial photographs taken from 1948 onwards. It is not depicted on the historic mapping and is tentatively interpreted as the remains of a medieval or post-medieval boundary that went out of use by the mid-19th century, although it is possible that it is associated with a drainage system.
