A possible former field boundary of between medieval to 19th century date is visible as earthwork ditches on aerial photographs of 1947 and on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016, to the east of Wolford Cross. The two linear sections of ditch appear to form part of a single northeast to southwest aligned field boundary which intersects with a now removed field boundary at its northeast extent. The possible field boundary appears, however, to have passed out of use by the time of the First Edition Ordnance Survey map. The digital Parish Tithe mosaic is incomplete here, so it is not possible to determine whether the field boundary was extant by this time.
