An area of uneven earthworks, visible on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014, correspond to the settlement of Clay Hill depicted on the Tithe map with several small enclosures. A curvilinear driveway to the west is visible as an earthwork ditch, and what appears to be an earlier access point from the road to the north-east is visible as a double-banked Holloway earthwork. The settlement seems to have diminished in size gradually from the late-19th century when it was named as Wink House, and two buildings were still visible on the 1940s.
