A curvilinear earthwork ditch, circa 2.5 metres in width, is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1948 and on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. It is not depicted on the historic mapping, although it is roughly parallel to nearby field boundaries that are likely to be medieval in date. It is tentatively interpreted as the remains of a medieval field boundary that became disused by the mid-19th century.
