Parallel linear earthwork banks, approximately 3.5 metres in width, are visible on aerial photographs taken between 1947 and 1996. Their broadly cross-contour orientation is indicative of post-medieval or 19th century tree planting banks and orchard is depicted in this location on the Tithe map. They are not visible on later available imagery, and orchard is not depicted in this location on the late-19th century maps, and they are interpreted as orchard banks that fell out of use in the second part of the 19th century.
