A possible former pre-enclsoure trackway of potential medieval date is visible as cropmark hollows and banks on aerial photographs of 1950, and as earthwork hollows on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016, at Hill View Farm. The earthworks and cropmarks are broadly east to west aligned and are composed of two linear sections located either side of a road which defines the parish boundary, although both would appear to form part of the same trackway. The trackway does not respect the post medieval enclosures depicted here on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map and similarly is not obviously modern in date. It is therefore interpreted as being of medieval date.
