Two-storeyed house (Lime-Kiln Cottage) built upon ruins of lime-kiln about 1890. Water-colour painting of the lime-kiln of about 1876 in the possession of Mr B. Hughes, c/o Maritime Museum, Appledore. Lower part of lime-kiln walls still visible in walls of cottage. Double lime-kiln marked on 1840 Tithe Map.
