Newman , P., 2001, Headland Warren Part 3: The Warren, 7-9, Figure 2 (Report - Survey). SDV359913.
Pillow mounds of varying shape and size at Headland Warren. Some were adapted from existing earthwork features such as field banks or upcast from a disused leat. Enclosure (a) has mounds running along its entire east and south sides stnding up to 1.2 metres high with ditches on the exterior suggesting the enclosure was used for trapping. An unusual circular mound is located on the north-west side of the enclosure. Map object partly based on this source.
