A network of narrow linear earthwork ditches are visible on aerial photographs taken from 1947 onwards and on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. They form a rough grid on the slopes south of Dulshayes with one ditch aligned cross-contour, perhaps channelling water (maybe mingled with manure) from the farmstead. Most of the more numerous ditches perpendicular to this channel run very slightly downslope and they are tentatively interpreted as the field gutters of a catchmeadow system of post-medieval or 19th century date. Others seem to have been taken off a watercourse along a field boundary to the west, and two at circa SY2676199348 from a field boundary to the east, but connecting to the main system. No features are depicted in this location on the available historic mapping suggesting that it fell out of use by the late-19th century.
