Two curvilinear earthwork ditches, circa 2 metres in width, are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1948, and one is visible on images derived from lidar information captured between 1998 and 2014. They are not depicted on the historic mapping, although they are broadly in keeping with the surrounding field pattern which is characterised as enclosures based on medieval strip fields. They are tentatively interpreted as the remains of medieval field boundaries that became disused by the mid-19th century.
