An earthwork bank circa 2.5 metres wide is visible on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. It is not depicted on the available historic mapping but is on the same alignment as the boundary immediately to the east that is depicted on the 19th century mapping and characterised as an area of enclosures based on medieval strip fields. It is interpreted as the relict remains of a former field boundary bank of likely medieval origin. It seems to have been cut by one of the gutters of a later catchmeadow (MDV117793) that overlies this boundary.
