The visible earthwork does not correspond with any depicted boundary.

Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

The visible earthwork does not correspond with any depicted boundary but does match a row of trees

Royal Air Force, 1947, RAF/CPE/UK/1974, RAF/CPE/UK/1974 RP 3446-3447 11-APR-1947 (Aerial Photograph). SDV356127.

A curvilinear bank was visible as low earthwork.

Environment Agency, 1998-2014, LiDAR DTM data (1m resolution), LIDAR ST1401 Environment Agency DTM 01-JAN-1998 to 30-SEP-2014 (Cartographic). SDV359177.

The curvilinear bank was not visible as an earthwork and has probably been levelled.

Next Perspectives, 2014, Aerial Photography for Great Britain, Next Perspectives APGB Imagery ST1401 08-SEP-2014 (Aerial Photograph). SDV359479.

The plot has been landscaped to include a large pond.

Hegarty, C. + Knight, S. + Sims, R., 2016-2018, The Blackdown Hills AONB and East Devon River Catchments National Mapping Programme Project (Interpretation). SDV359463.

A narrow curvilinear earthwork bank up to circa 3 metres wide and up to circa 75 metres long was visible on aerial photographs of 1947 onwards on the south-facing slopes east of Ashfield House and Awliscombe House, Awliscombe parish.
The visible earthwork did not correspond with any field boundary depicted on the Tithe Map for Awliscombe or the Ordnance Survey First Edition 25 inch map. It might be evidence of the remains of a former field boundary, possibly medieval origin that was removed prior to the mid-19th century. The plot in which the earthwork was visible has now been landscaped to include a pond, and no trace of the bank was visible as an earthwork on digital images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014, and has probably been levelled.
