Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.
The field boundary is not depicted on this map and appears to have passed out of use.

Cropmarks which have formed over a levelled bank of a possible former medieval field boundary are visible on aerial photographs of 1950, to the northwest of Westcott Farm, Sheldon. The linear cropmarks form a northeast to southwest aligned field boundary which appears to have passed out of use by the time of the Parish Tithe map of 1838-48. The Historic Landscape Characterisation project has classified this area as comprising medieval strip enclosures, so the field boundary could be of medieval date. The cropmarks were not visible on other aerial photographs or digital images made available to the survey.
