Vis=11/12/1978(os) there is nothing resembling an earthwork in the area indicated, which has been subjected to quarrying.


Griffith, F. M., Untitled Source (Report - Survey). SDV677.

Vis=25/9/1983 (griffith + silvester) a few sections of curving fieldbank tentatively identified. Although there has been extensive quarrying, the limits of it do not appear to have changed since the 1884 survey was done. A further short stretch of bank visible on 1947 raf ap but no longer extant. The ap shows the line of the 1884 bank as a pale soilmark: in 1983 this is not visible on the ground (griffith).
