Cropmarks which have formed over infilled ditches of two sides of a possible prehistoric enclosure are visible on digital images derived from aerial photographs taken in 2010, on gentle east facing slope, to the northwest of Higher Slade Farm. The linear cropmarks are poorly defined, but appear to form the northwest corner of a rectilinear enclosure, measuring at least 35m in length by 31m in width. The cropmarks are not visible on other aerial photographs or digital images made available to the survey and given their poor definition should be viewed with some degree of caution.
