A possible former field boundary of between medieval to 19th century date is visible as an earthwork banked feature on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016, to the north of Sheldon Court. The linear northwest to southeast aligned earthwork appears to correspond with a prominent kink in the field boundary off its northwest extent and so appears to predate the Barton fields depicted here on historic maps. The earthwork was not clearly visible on aerial photographs or other digital images made available to the survey.
