Full description

Debois Landscape Survey Group, 2007, Bishops Court, Devon. Landscape Survey and Management Plan, Appendix 1: BC40X, BV10-11 (Report - non-specific). SDV349911.

Site of a bridge over the River Clyst on Lord Graves's drive which is shown on estate plans of 1833 and 1834. There would have been two further bridges to the north, over another arm of the Clst (now dry) and the Sowton Mill Leat. The drive was built circa 1805-10 and was replaced by another drive circa 1837.
