HER Number:MDV11806
Name:Tinners building 550 metrres south-west of Lints Tor, Dartmoor Forest

Summary

The fragmentary remains of a building lie within an area of streamworking debris on the left bank of the West Okement River south-west of Lints Tor. A turf covered levelled platform approximately 7 metres north-south by 3.5 metres has been created in the top of a spoil heap. The only extant walling is situated in the north-east corner where three courses of boulders stand 0.6 metres high. It seems likely that the north and south walls were revetted into the spoil. There is no obvious entrance and no discernible internal features.
