Bluesky International, 2016, LiDAR DTM data (0.5m resolution) Blackdown Hills and East Devon AONBs: 3 transects, LIDAR ST1209 Bluesky International DTM 05-MAY-2016 (Cartographic). SDV359714.

The extraction pits are visible as earthwork pits.

Possible post-medieval to 19th century extraction pits are visible as earthwork pits on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016, on west facing slopes within Horse Park Copse, to the west of Sheldon Grange. The two possible extraction pits are irregular in shape and measure approximately 45m and 85m in length. They are not clearly visible on aerial photographs or other digital images made available to the survey owing to tree cover here.
