Possible field boundaries of between medieval to 19th century date are visible as earthwork banks on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016, to the south of Park Lane. The two parallel and linear earthworks are east to west aligned and closely respect the historic field patterns here of medieval enclosures based on strip fields. The digital parish tithe map is incomplete here, so it is not possible to determine whether the field boundaries were extant by this time, although they appear to have passed out of use by the time of the First Edition Ordnance Survey map.
