Possible post-medieval to 19th century extraction pits are visible as earthwork pits on digital images derived from lidar data captured in 2016, at Park Farm. The earthworks are irregular in shape and measure between 22-56m in length. They occupy the site of a former orchard depicted here on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map, the fruit trees likely being established within the pits following their abandonment.
